Ok, So the d-day's over and everything. The treat is over, everything said and done..had a pretty bad experience with one of the restaurants here in Kampala...
I have been to almost all the eateries here (Indian)..I have been to Khana Khazana (undoubtedly one of the best), then Nawab (my favourite), Kati Kati, Spice Garden, Oasis, The whole of Food Court in Garden City etc. in Kampala, Uganda. But this one, Handi Restaurant was the last and the latest one.. and I can suggest that this one was the worst...
Given the fact that it was on a Saturday and eateries rarely close their kitchen at 11.00pm...the restaurant in picture closes its kitchen at 10.30pm as usual...
Again the food sucked and it was tasted as if having a gujju snack...even though we had ordered some nice punjabi dishes and had ordered it to be on the spicy side......ha......On top of this the management was rude enough to not even adhere to our kind pleas to bring the food a bit late...lolz......they just dumped it (ya thats the correct word) at our tables as soon as we had ordered.
This was actually the limit of tolerance, when you are adapted to the best of service in the industry here...
So the bottom line is that avoid Handi Restaurant, if you are wishing to have a quality time with late nite boozing and everything then skip Handi (if u ever happen to visit Kampala).
Anyone who disagrees with me can comment on it.
Well I wud had loved to write more on restaurants here, but lack of time is denying me to do that, May be in future I may write more on the above title.
